charlestonreviews

Steve Morawiec.  Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Then a fine and proper academic education in the New York City Public School System. Joined the Navy in 1974 - retired from the Navy in 1996. Now I write reviews, take photographs, shoot dice, and play poker with my old submarine shipmates.

Some information and ground rules:

1.  My wife Margie and I usually visit a restaurant together.  We never let a restaurant or business know who we are or that we're doing a review.

2.  We order from the menu or have a house special - no special orders or requests unless food allergies are involved.  We will usually order different meals.

3.  We grade on a 1 to 10 scale with 10 being the best and 1 being the worst.  We may grade areas on a decimal fraction - for example - service 8.5.

4.  Typically we grade the following areas (list not all inclusive and other areas as necessary may be included - for example - parking):  Food quality, food quantity, food presentation, bar and bar service as appropriate, overall service, dining area cleanliness, bathroom and its cleanliness, price, overall grade, and a recommendation.

5.  We don't pull any punches.  The restaurant or business is graded as we experience it - if it's great we'll grade it as such - if it's terrible we'll also grade it as such.

6.  All reviews are our unpaid opinions - we don't get paid by the restaurant and we pay for all of our meals.

7.  We don't respond to solicitations or requests from restaurants or businesses to perform reviews.

8.  We always tell the truth.
